    Minato-ku, Tokyo
Tennozu Isle Fureai Bridge is a pedestrians-only bridge linking Tennozu Isle with Konan Park. The Bridge, which opened in 1996, has been used as a filming location for many TV drama series, TV commercials, and movies. At night, the Bridge is illuminated, and the combination of the Bridge and the buildings on Tennozu Isle makes for a spectacular nightscape. Tennozu Isle Fureai Bridge was built using the pin-connected truss construction technique, which is rarely used nowadays, giving the Bridge a distinctly “retro” feel.

Tokyo Areas

around-area-map

The setting of countless iconic movie scenes and the inspiration for songs, poetry, and literature worldwide, Tokyo barely requires an introduction. It’s hard for the kaleidoscopic neon lights, wacky pop culture, and some of the world’s tallest structures not to instill excitement in any first-time visitor to Tokyo, whether you’re in the very center of the hustle and bustle in Shinjuku or Shibuya or looking in from the quieter suburbs.
