The permanent exhibits cover a broad range of subjects from the simple science questions to those regarding the latest technologies including the earth environment, space exploration, and the wonders of life. The dome shaped theater that plays 3D science films and other three-dimensional planetarium presentations is very popular. The director of this museum is the famous astronaut, Mamoru Mohri.

If you come expecting a museum of emerging science and technology, you might be a tad disappointed. This really is more of a set of more or less sophisticated art pieces and exhibits showcasing...

Tokyo Koto-ku Ariake 2-3-5 Ariake Water Reclamation Center 5F
A museum located an eight-minute walk from Odaiba-kaihinkoen Station on the Yurikamome Line. The museum is a public relations facility operated by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Bureau of Sewerage. Through exhibits such as a life-sized recreation of a sewer pipe, and a water quality testing lab, visitors can see what kind of work sewer workers actually do. Informational panels, interactive experiments, and exhibits such as one which allows you to look inside a manhole make it easy to understand what the Bureau of Sewerage does and how the Tokyo sewer system works. The museum's Rainbow Cinema shows short movies on the role of the sewer system and work conducted in and on it.

Dont bother. Its just a big room on the fifth floor of a community center type building- and has no connection whatsoever to any sewage infrastructure. Has a few posters- and areas for childrens...

Tokyo Areas

around-area-map

The setting of countless iconic movie scenes and the inspiration for songs, poetry, and literature worldwide, Tokyo barely requires an introduction. It’s hard for the kaleidoscopic neon lights, wacky pop culture, and some of the world’s tallest structures not to instill excitement in any first-time visitor to Tokyo, whether you’re in the very center of the hustle and bustle in Shinjuku or Shibuya or looking in from the quieter suburbs.
