    Saitama Pref. Kawagoeshi Nakachou 1-12
This building is in Kawagoe City, Saitama Prefecture. Its old European-style construction is reminiscent of the Parthenon, and it is now a National Registered Tangible Cultural Property. It was originally the Kawagoe branch of the former Bushu Bank. Built in 1928, it was handed over to the Kawagoe Chamber of Commerce, which still owns it, in 1970.

    Saitama Kawagoe-shi Matsuecho 2-7-8
This house was built for the retirement of Yamazaki Kashichi, the fifth head of long-standing Kawagoe confectioner Kameya. In the year 2000 the main building, tea house, and sitting room were designated as Tangible Cultural Properties of the City and in 2006 parts of the building were donated to the city. The garden is a Nationally Registered Memorial (scenic location) and in 2019 the main building was designated as an Important Cultural Property of Japan (Architecture). It is highly regarded as contributing to the development of landscaping culture.
