    A historic structure located in 2-Chome Kuruwa-machi, Kawagoe City. The palace was built in 1848 by Matsudaira Naritsune, then lord of Kawagoe Domain. Today, the palace's entranceway and reception hall as well as the transplanted and restored chief retainer's office are the only original parts of Kawagoe Castle which still stand today. The palace is used as a museum containing exhibits on Kawagoe Domain. Visitors can purchase a joint museum pass which also grants access to the nearby Kawagoe City Museum and Kawagoe City Art Museum.

The main deity venerated here is Susanoo-no-Mikoto, often worshiped as the god of harmonious families, matrimonial happiness and matchmaking.     This local museum is in Kawagoe City, Saitama Prefecture. It preserves and displays important materials related to the Kawagoe Hikawa Matsuri, a nationally recognized Important Intangible Folk Culture Asset and one of the Kanto region's three greatest festivals. The exhibition hall always has two floats on display, and in Sundays and holidays they hold a performance of the parade's dance music, called ohayashi.

    A Buddhist temple located in Renjaku-cho, Kawagoe City. The temple's principal object of worship is a statue of Amitabha Tathagata created in the distant Kamakura period. The temple also enshrines a statue of the high priest Donryu said to grant worshippers safe childbirth and aid in childrearing, and a statue known as Obinzuru-sama which is said to cure one of illness when one touches it. A festival is held at the temple on the eighth of each month to worship Donryu, and on these days a variety of shops open up on the grounds and traditional art performances are held, attracting large numbers of visitors. The temple is also dedicated to Fukurokuju, one of the Seven Gods of Fortune, and the temple makes up part of the Koedo Kawagoe Seven Gods of Fortune Pilgrimage.

    A Buddhist temple situated along Prefectural Route 15 in Kubo-machi, Kawagoe City. A branch temple of the Naritasan Shinshoji Temple to which a portion of the head temple's spirit of Acala was ritually transferred, the temple was founded by Ishikawa Sho'on in 1850. The temple holds a flea market on the 28th of each month and visitors will find a variety of stalls selling curios and other items.

    Boasting a 1200-year history, Kitain Temple is a National Designated Important Cultural Property that houses several valuable Cultural Properties. In addition to ordinary worship and visits to the main temple building, it also puts on occasional exhibitions of its treasures, which make available to visitors the precious items it has kept throughout its long history. The souvenir shop within its precincts was opened in 1972 and is well known as the first temple-based souvenir shop for tourists within the city limits of Kawagoe.

    A historic structure situated along Kanetsuki-dori Street in Saiwai-cho, Kawagoe City. The tower was originally built some 400 years ago by Sakai Tadakatsu, then the lord of what was Kowagoe Domain. The tower was destroyed by fires and rebuilt many times; the current tower was rebuilt after it was destroyed in the Great Kawagoe Fire in the Meiji period. The tower's bell still rings out four times a day to announce the time and this sound has been selected by the Ministry of the Environment for inclusion of its list of 100 Soundscapes of Japan.

The museum's collection of some 2,000 items focuses on works by Kawagoe-born Western-style painter Kyuichiro Aihara and other artists connected to the area.     This building is in Kawagoe City, Saitama Prefecture. Its old European-style construction is reminiscent of the Parthenon, and it is now a National Registered Tangible Cultural Property. It was originally the Kawagoe branch of the former Bushu Bank. Built in 1928, it was handed over to the Kawagoe Chamber of Commerce, which still owns it, in 1970.

    An art museum launched on the Culture Day holiday in 1982. On display is art by master painter and elder statesmen of the domestic art revolution which occurred during the Meiji period, Hashimoto Gaho. He was the son of Hashimoto Seien, a door screen painter employed by the Kawagoe domain, but outstripped his father's ability and became a pioneer of Japanese art reform. This museum was opened to commemorate the 150th anniversary of the birth of Mr. Yamazaki, who preserved all Gaho’s works and handed them down to his descendants.

    "Ichibangai Kurazukuri-no-machinami historic street is located around 10 minutes' walk from Hon-Kawagoe Station on the Seibu Shinjuku Line. With just over 30 Kurazukuri warehouse-style buildings lining the road, this area plays a very important role in the preservation of traditional architecture. The Kurazukuri buildings are one of the most important tourist attractions in Kawagoe (which came to be known as ""Little Edo"" because of its prosperity). The oldest of the Kurazukuri buildings is the Osawa House, which was constructed in 1792 and has been designated as a National Important Cultural Property. Visitors to this area can also view the ""Toki-no-kane"" (Time Bell Tower)-which has become a symbol of Kawagoe-from close to; more than a century after it was constructed, the bell-tower continues to tell the time through the ringing out of the bell four times a day. The branch of Saitama Resona Bank located halfway down the street is an old Western-style building that perfectly matches the historic ambience of the area."

    A hands-on workshop on the second floor of a chopstick seller, located in Ichibangai (Kurazukuri-no-tori), near the Saitama Resona Bank. You can try making a variety of handicrafts including glass beads, glass bead accessories, candles, engraved glass pieces, sand-blasted glass pieces, photo frames, candle holders, stained glass accessories, and plush balls. While reservations are not required when the shop is busy priority is given to those with reservations, so it's best to make a reservation before visiting.

    店員さんの説明もわかりやすく、トンボ玉作り未経験の私でもでもあっという間に作ることができます。 作品の仕上がりに待ち時間が一時間ほどかかるので、周辺には風情のある建物や有名店も多くあったので街中探索をしてすごしました。 オリジナルのトンボ玉をお土産にできて、とっても充実した一日をすごせました。 駅からはバスも出ていますが、少しかかりますが、町を散策できるので歩きもお薦めします。

    Located just south of Kita-in Temple, this temple is officially called Tendai Sect Bekkaku-Honzan Nakain special head temple.
