    A hands-on workshop on the second floor of a chopstick seller, located in Ichibangai (Kurazukuri-no-tori), near the Saitama Resona Bank. You can try making a variety of handicrafts including glass beads, glass bead accessories, candles, engraved glass pieces, sand-blasted glass pieces, photo frames, candle holders, stained glass accessories, and plush balls. While reservations are not required when the shop is busy priority is given to those with reservations, so it's best to make a reservation before visiting.

    店員さんの説明もわかりやすく、トンボ玉作り未経験の私でもでもあっという間に作ることができます。 作品の仕上がりに待ち時間が一時間ほどかかるので、周辺には風情のある建物や有名店も多くあったので街中探索をしてすごしました。 オリジナルのトンボ玉をお土産にできて、とっても充実した一日をすごせました。 駅からはバスも出ていますが、少しかかりますが、町を散策できるので歩きもお薦めします。

    A farm located in Konuma, Sakado City. The farm grows five varieties of strawberries, including Benihoppe and Sainokaori, a variety created in Saitama Prefecture. Visitors can pick strawberries in greenhouses incorporating universal design principles when the strawberries are in season. The farm also has fields of statice and carnations for visitors to appreciate and enjoy.

    A farm situated along the Ota Highway in 6-Chome Minamiotsuka, Kawagoe City. Here visitors can dig taro from mid-September to early November. Visitors can dig up and take home Kawagoe taro, a local specialty product, or borrow a pot, steaming basket, or skillet to cook up their taro on the spot (visitors are allowed to bring food and other items from outside to create their meal).

    This farm is located in Otagaya, Tsurugashima City. It grows six different types of strawberries such as “Akihime,” “Yayoi Hime” and “Beni Hoppe.” They offer all-you-can-eat strawberry picking for 45 minutes between mid-December to around mid-May. They also directly sell strawberries and flowers.

    This strawberry farm is located along Midorinomichi Street in Kamiomino, Kawajima Town, Hiki County. The farm cultivates Akihime and Benihoppe strawberries, and you also have the option to participate in 30-minute all-you-can-eat strawberry picking between mid-January and around late May (closed irregularly, so be sure to confirm before visiting). In the period between early December and around late May, the farm also sells strawberries and their own cultivated rice (unpolished).

    子供は初めての苺狩りという事で、調べてこちらに来てみました。園内は清潔だし、かがまずに取れるし、苺の量も確保されてるしとても良い体験になりました。また行こうと思います。
