- Approximately a 5-minute walk from the Omama Station on the Watarase Keikoku Railroad, this parlor theater is located within the Nagame Park, and is also accessible by disembarking at the Nagame Koen-mae bus stop. Built in 1937, the two-story wood structure hosted the trendy singers and popular theater groups peaking in prominence during the mid ‘40s and ‘50s. During its heydays, it was said that people would try to even get a glimpse of the show by hanging down through windows and climbing trees. Seating 650 altogether on the two floors, the theater can be toured or be reserved for events with advanced reservations.
