    "This art museum is located in a prefectural park in Gunma Prefecture, next to the Gunma no Mori bus stop, accessible by the City loop bus from the JR Takasaki Station. It contains around 2,000 pieces of diverse modern art, ranging from Japanese works, such as Sotaro Yasui's ""Ashi wo arau onna"" and foreign artists such as Claude Monet's ""Water Lilies"". Events including exhibitions in the exhibition room which straddles two floors, lectures in the auditorium and workshops are held on the second floor. A restaurant and a shop selling accessories and other items are also located on the first floor."

    An art museum located within the Takasaki Tower 21 high-rise building at the east exit of Takasaki Station in Sakae-cho, Takasaki City. Their collection includes works by modern Japanese painters such as Yokoyama Taikan and Uemura Shoen as well as active Japanese painters who hail from Gunma. Special exhibitions are also held in the museum.

    富岡市出身の画家です。 人物を題材にした画がおおかったようなほんとに１人の人が描いた作品なのかと思うぐらいです。館内は綺麗で作品をみながらクイズに答え正解すると絵ハガキまたは紙風船が貰えます。 私が気にいったのは1982年の顔という作品です。

    This museum is located three minutes from JR Takasaki Station Nishi-guchi (West exit) by foot. It has a variety of exhibits, such as paintings, sculptures and designs, mainly on contemporary art. It is near to the station, making it an easy-to-visit art space. The museum has many art collections, including Kaoru Yamaguchi, Masao Tsuruoka and other works in connection with Takasaki City, and holds gallery talks and workshop events around planned exhibitions. The Former Inoue Fusaichiro Residence on the premises was designed after the famous architect, Antonin Raymond's home and workplace.

    高崎美術館の横にあります。レーモンドの自邸兼事務所を写した建物だそうです。建物内に入るとモダンな内装やレトロな家具で落ち着ける空間です。実際に使われ、生活に根ざした建物としての温かみや優しさがあり、ゆっくりと寛ぐことができます。

    "This art museum is located one minute on foot from the City loop bus’s Shorinzan route ""Yamada Kamachi Bijutsukan iriguchi (Museum of Art Entrance)"" bus stop, accessible from the JR Takasaki Station's Nishi-guchi (West Exit). The museum displays and seeks to introduce the charms of the works of Yamada Kamachi, a talented artist who died prematurely at the age of 17. The museum displays all of his drawings and poems from his early childhood to his final work and looks back on the life he led. His works are exhibited by their themes and include collections of pictures and records relating to music, pencil drawings and novel crayon paintings, watercolor paintings, crayon drawings and poems."

The art museum was founded by painter Inagawa Kurataro and alongside his own works pieces by other artists who have painted Mt. Myogi including Aoki Shigeru and Fukuda Tane are displayed as part of special exhibitions. From the terrace within the museum you can look out at Mt. Myogi, standing before you like a painting.

    箕郷地区の中心部。 入ってすぐは喫茶コーナー。奥には展示室が二つあって、こちらは有料です。 昔話的な素朴なテーマから、女性をモチーフにしたちょっと大人の雰囲気のあるものまで。紙風船を配した幻想的な作品も関口ワールド。意外に楽しめる美術館でした。
