    Located on Itsutsubashi-dori Avenue at the entrance to Tohoku University, Murakamiya Mochiten is a long-established mochi shop dating back to 1877. The “zunda mochi” which makes use of Tohoku’s famous “zunda” is popular. They continue a method of careful work unchanged since the founding and reduction of sugar to bring out the original sweetness of zunda (mashed boiled green soybeans). Popular items include the three-colored mochi with three flavors: sesame, chestnut, and zunda. Additionally, sweet zunda of every fashion, like daifuku, kuzu-manju, and the summer-limited shaved ice “zunda milk” are popular.

    This is a Japanese-style sweet café in an alley on the Yon-chome Shopping Street in Ichi-ban-cho 4 Chome, Aoba Ward in Sendai City. The popular anmitsu can be customized with three variations of crushed or smooth red bean jam or green soy bean jam and a choice of black or white sugar syrup. It also serves other sweets such as oshiruko (mochi rice cakes in sweet red bean soup) and parfaits as well as light meals such as noodles.

    仙台市内のアーケードから路地裏に入ったところにありますが、人気があるお店らしく、並んでいました。 今回注文したのは 「彦いちパフェ」あんこやフルーツを使った、和風パフェですが、個人的に1番あんこが美味しくて驚きでした。あんこが好きな方にお勧めのパフェです。

    "Kikusui-an was opened in 1996 by ""Ocha no Igeta,"" which has been in business as a tea shop for many years since 1920. At this restaurant, where you can enjoy both meals and sweets, the deeply tasted matcha sweets that can only be created by a tea shop are popular. The ""Kikusui parfait"" containing ""Kiku-fuku"" (kind of 'daifuku': consisting of thin-skinned mochi [rice cake] stuffed with bean paste) and ""Dora-chan"" (kind of 'dorayaki': consisting of two slices of Japanese sponge cake with bean paste in between) and the ""Zunda-mochi parfait"" using zunda-mochi (rice cake with sweetened zunda [mashed green soybeans]) are very popular.     仙台駅2F東口改札を出てすぐ左手にあるカフェです。店内はレンガや古材を模した内装でお洒落な雰囲気ですが、便利な場所なので混雑していました。ランチ時にナポリタンをいただきましたが、モチモチした食感で美味でした。
