- This cape is in Hakodate. Since it's on a cliff overlooking the Tsugaru Strait, on clear days you can see all the way to Aomori prefecture's Shimokita Peninsula. At night, the lights of squid boats are visible twinkling over the water. A monument to poet Hiroshi Yosano and his wife Akiko, as well as the Takuboku Ishikawa family gravesite, can be found in front of the cape.
