大森和蜡烛屋

位于内子町的蜡烛屋，在江户和明治时代凭借和纸、蜡烛而声名远扬。使用传承200年以上的独特工艺制作的蜡烛，有着像树木年轮形状的切面，没有任何色彩和图案等多余的装饰，充满了古朴之美。这种蜡烛的特点是产生的烟特别少，不会滴落烛泪，而且持久耐用。在国外也很有人气，大英博物馆的主页中也有相关介绍。从JR“内子站”步行约15分钟。

This is just one of the little shops on the historic walking street. Candles are nice, but very pricy. The owner demonstrates how they are made.
