2k540 AKI-OKA ARTISAN
This commercial facility opened for business in December 2010 in the underpass of an elevated train line between JR Akihabara Station and Okachimachi Station. With a theme of making things by hand, it is a place where you can pick up articles of rare beauty which have been produced in small lots by the hands of craftsmen. Rows of unique shops stand in a line such as shops with studios attached and shop conducting experience-based workshops. It’s a spot where you can come across once off items which you won’t be able to pick up anywhere else, from jewelry and bags to traditional crafts.
