Established in 1976, the longstanding cafe's Meiji and Taisho period-inspired decor exudes a nostalgic atmosphere. The cafe's menu is filled with retro selections, such as its signature Hayashi rice, which has been made according to the exact same recipe for 30 years; as well as opera rice, which consists of a tomato pilaf covered with a white sauce. In addition, the cafe offers an abundant selection of desserts, such as handmade puddings and brownies, plus seasonal parfaits and more. レトロな店内でオペラライス

鎌倉では人気の喫茶店みたいです。平日の12時前だったのでゆっくりできました。名物のオペラライスは卵の代わりにホワイトソースがたっぷり掛かっていて、今までに味わったことのない料理でした。オリジナルのカップも可愛かったです。

鎌倉の混み具合でヘトヘトになり、小町通からちょっと脇道に入ったところで見つけました。メニューのプリンアラモードに惹かれて入店。内装がとても素敵で、オペラライスなどのお料理も美味しくいただきました。

路地にある怪しい喫茶店だなーと惹かれて入りました。内装もレトロというか、怪しげというか、でもジャズが流れるお洒落な空間。ビーフストロガノフがとても美味しくて、おかわりしたいと思ったほど…！他のメニューも食べたいのでまた行きます！
