実際の祭で使われている曳山が展示されています。ロビーでお祭りの様子をビデオで見てから見学。曳山を見たあとは、蔵回廊の蔵見学。お祭りの神様の着物が素晴らしく豪華です。

城端駅から周辺を散策にて立ち寄りました。行った時は私一人でしたのでゆっくり観るとこができました。城端曳山について知ることができました。地域根付いた祭りなどはそこに行かないとわからないとさことがあり良かったです○
華麗で荘厳な曳山

江戸時代の１７１０年代に成立し、明治以降春祭りとして毎年5月に開催されています。る国の重要無形民俗文化財に指定され、ユネスコの無形文化遺産に登録されています。この祭りの傘鉾、庵屋台、曳山などを一年中展示している施設です。照明で夜の提灯モードで見ることもでき、祭りの夜を疑似体験できるようになっています。優雅な祭り囃子と一緒に曳山祭の様子を映した映像をロビーで鑑賞できます。
