This municipal park is operated by Gifu City. Built around the remains of Gifu Castle, a National Historic Site, it has a Japanese garden designed with Oda Nobunaga in mind and an excavation information office at the site of his former residence. Visitors can learn about Oda Nobunaga and his role in Japanese history. Other facilities on the grounds include the Gifu City Museum of History, Kato Eizo and Toichi Memorial Art Museum, the Ryurei-shiki Kashoken Tearoom, and the Nawa Insect Museum.
