Lake Tazawa Excursion Ship

The Lake Tazawa Excursion Ship takes visitors on a ride over Japan’s deepest lake to see its Gozaishi stone, the Tatsuko Statue, and more sights. The 25 minute cruise departs from Katajiri and runs April 26–November 5. The legend of Princess Tatsuko is played onboard during the trip to add to the Lake Tazawa’s mythical atmosphere. It’s about 11 minutes’ drive from JR Tazawako Station.
