Jobon-Rendaiji Temple

Temple
Located in Kyoto's Kita Ward, Jobon-Rendaiji Temple is a temple of the Chisan branch of Shingon Buddhism, dedicated to the bodhisattva Enmei Jizo. It has a color illustrated copy of the Sutra of Cause and Effect, among other National Treasures and Important Cultural Properties. So-called weeping cherry trees grow on the temple grounds, and the local people consider it a secret, uncrowded spot for viewing cherry blossoms.
