Uhoin Temple
This Mt. KoyaShingon sect temple is in Kamigyo Ward, Kyoto City. Here, one of the deities enshrined is the Daishoukankiten. Also called, Nishijin-no-Shotensan, it is beloved by the locals. The temple is also known for its many cherry blossomvarieties such as the double petaled yaezakura, and the kankizakura. In the spring, many visitors come to enjoy the cherry blossoms.
