A museum with an atmospheric temple-like exterior, on top of a verdant hill. Throughout the year, the museum holds special exhibitions that are approachable to people of all ages. The permanent exhibition features a wide variety of art works, including paintings, crafts, and sculptures mainly by artists associated with Tatsuno Town, as well as archaeological materials such as clay figures from the Jomon period. The second-floor lobby has a library corner with a vast collection of books, magazines, and exhibition pictorial records, as well as a wide range of original goods such as postcards and pictorial records.

ひな人形が素敵だと聞いて2歳の娘を連れて初めて辰野美術館へ足を運びました。現代風のハリーポッターやETなどもあり、娘が喜んでいました。大きな大きな雛人形にも圧倒され、見に行ってよかったです。
埴輪が面白かった

展示物は絵画や写真で、美術館にはしては少しさびしいが、縄文時代の埴輪や出土品が展示されていて、これが大変興味深く見事でした、。入館料もお安く展望デッキからの眺望もみどころです。
