A roadside station situated along National Route 223 in Kirishima City. 670 meters above sea level, the station also boasts a sweeping view of the area. The adjoining shop sells specialty products like Berkshire pork miso, blueberry juice, and Satsuma Tin ware. The station is adjoined by “Kirishima Shinwanosato Park”, a vast, nature-rich leisure ground where visitors can enjoy leisure activities like a sightseeing lift.
