Nakano Broadway (中野ブロードウェイ)
As a complex building that opened in 1966, the lower level floors are a shopping center while the upper level floors are condominiums. Known as a holy land for subculture, the space from the second floor to the fourth floor is occupied by many specialist-oriented shops carrying anime, manga, used books and premium toys. From the first basement floor to the ground floor there are a row of shops related to food products, daily necessities, and fashion. The area is frequented by many women and non-Japanese, and is a popular shopping spot regardless of age or nationality.

Tokyo Areas

The setting of countless iconic movie scenes and the inspiration for songs, poetry, and literature worldwide, Tokyo barely requires an introduction. It’s hard for the kaleidoscopic neon lights, wacky pop culture, and some of the world’s tallest structures not to instill excitement in any first-time visitor to Tokyo, whether you’re in the very center of the hustle and bustle in Shinjuku or Shibuya or looking in from the quieter suburbs.
