Mimosusogawa Park
"This historical site of Shimonoseki City is the site of the ""Dannoura Battle"", the last battle between the Genji and Heike clans. ""Mimosuso River Park"" is in front of the ancient battlefield and monuments and statues such as ""Statue of Taira no Tomomori"", ""Statue of Minamoto no Yoshitsune"" and ""Drowning Site of Emperor Antoku Stone Monument"" are situated around the park. The Kanmon Tunnel runs directly under the ancient battlefield."
