    Fukuoka Pref. Kurumeshi Nonakamachi Within 1015 Ishibashi Cultural Center
    An art museum which collects and displays Japanese modern Western-style paintings, calligraphy, and ceramics. Donated to Kurume City by Shojiro Ishibashi, a locally born businessman who founded the Bridgestone Tire company (the predecessor of the Bridgestone Group), the museum is also sometimes referred to by its old name as the Ishibashi Museum of Art. Events such as special exhibitions, gallery talks, and workshops are also held in the museum.

    場所は多少分かりにくいですが、建物自体は歴史を感じられるすてきなものでした。地域密着型の展示やイベントを開催されているのでイベント等をチェックしていくとより楽しめると思います。

    国道3号から八女市役所立花市民センターへ曲がった所にあります。観梅会と重なったせいか駐車場は混雑。入場無料も撮影禁止のマークが目立ちます。五木寛之特別展示コーナーを併設。時間潰しに適しています。
