    Mt. Daisen was originally called Mt. Ogamiyama and is where Okuninushi no kami, the great national goddess is enshrined. Worshippers have gathered at Mt. Daisen as the “Mountain of God” since long ago. The approach to the Okumiya, behind the main shrine, uses natural stone and has a mysterious feel. It is said to be the longest approach path in Japan.

    令和5年の初詣で訪問しました。地元では縁結び（縁切り）にご利益があるとして知られた神社です。昨年の令和4年が自分にとって良くない事が重なったので、今年はこちらに参拝しました。今のところ、ご利益を感じる出来事が多いので、行ってよかったと感じています。

    本宮まで行くのに長い階段があります。階段の下でもお参りできるようにはなっています。造りはいたって普通なのですが、この神社にまつわる尼さんのお話にロマンを感じます。

    鳥居のからの参道に電車が走っている。たまたま遮断機が下りて電車が通過した。不思議な神社だ。 神社巡りが大好きだが、この神社は山全体からエネルギーを感じた。 こけが大変きれいで、静寂な中に神秘を感じる、わくわくする（変な表現ですが）神社だ。

    米子駅から徒歩15分ほど。 創建年不明。京都上賀茂神社より勧請して創建。米子(旧米子町)最古の社。古くは賀茂皇大明神と称していたが、1868年(明治元年)に賀茂神社と改称。1961年に稲荷神社、北野神社(天満宮)を合祀して現社号に改称。祭神は別雷命。鳥居は1962年建立。神門をくぐって右に90度折れたところに木造銅板葺きの社殿が立つ。境内には米子三名水の一つ「宮水」が湧いており、自由に汲むことがで...
