"A ""yoshoku"" Japanese-style Western food restaurant located in Kano-cho 2-Chome, Chuo Ward, Kobe City. Menu selections include yoshoku standards like gratins, hamburg steaks, and omelet rice; the ""Honjitsu no Chotto"" daily special made with fresh ingredients stocked that day; the ""Honjitsu no Tokubetsu"" combo which comes with your choice of main dish. The restaurant also offers four lunch selections - a daily lunch special, breaded beef cutlet, pork cutlet lunch, and the restaurant's own original ""Sakura Rice"" ketchup rice topped with a breaded pork cutlet and cream sauce."

"A top-class steak restaurant located a one-minute walk from the West Exit 1 of Sannomiya Station on the Kobe Municipal Subway Seishin-Yamate Line. Here diners can enjoy superb steaks grilled right before their eyes in a classy stone and wood atmosphere. The restaurant takes great pride in the quality of its meat; in order to more fully enjoy the innate flavor of the meat, diners are encouraged to take the first bite with just a little bit of Ako salt. The restaurant's ""Anniversary Plan"" is perfect for a special occasion and comes with singled out sirloin and tenderloin steak as well as wine. The restaurant also offers a reasonably priced lunchtime menu."

Established in 1933, it is a Western-style restaurant of long standing which continues to be loved and has a flavor which haven’t changed since being founded. The half-glace sauce which is prepared over three days using a secret formula especially has a lot of fans, so the hashed meat with rice, beef stew and the Japanese hand kneaded beef hamburgers are popular. The interior of the restaurant has an atmosphere of a good old retro Western-style restaurant, which makes it easy for even woman on their own to enter the restaurant. There is also a lunch menu with daily specials.

This is a local food restaurant directly managed by the JA National Federation of Agricultural Cooperatives Hyogo. This is a well-known restaurant where you can have set courses of Kobe beef, Tajima beef and seasonal local vegetables. There are three types of courses available such as the “Teppan-yaki” (Japanese cooking prepared on a hot steel plate) course, the “Seiro-mushi” (Bamboo steamer course) course or a “Shabu-shabu” (thinly sliced meat boiled quickly with vegetables and dipped in sauce) course. During the “Teppan-yaki” course, the chef offers to grill directly in front of you—A4 and A5 Kobe beef and Tajima beef mesmerise the world with its rich flavors.

Pricy and worth it! Very tasty. We had a bottle of wine and it was less than $240 for a really wonderful meal.

Luminous Kobe 2 is one of Japan’s largest restaurant ships sailing from the Port of Kobe. The beautiful decor, modeled on the French luxury liner “Normandy” from the 1930’s, is particularly appealing. You can enjoy stunning views from the ship which includes day cruises taking in the magical cityscape of Kobe, and views of Awaji Island, plus night cruises where you can marvel at the Akashi Kaikyo Bridge lit up at night, and behold the night skyline sparkling like jewels in the sky. Treat yourself to an elegant cruise dining on first-rate cuisine including French meals superbly created by on board chefs, and all you can eat steak dinners.

Expensive. We tried the lunch steak buffet. The beef is not good and other dishes not good too. Very few dishes for buffet course. It must be a an all you can eat beans and vegetables.

This long-standing restaurant opened in 1952 and is located in Chuo Ward, Kobe City, Hyogo Prefecture. It is tucked away on a street like a hidden shelter. Its Showa-period vibe gives it a retro feel. Its main offerings include hamburg sets and other Western cuisine, and its meat dishes use only salt and pepper to preserve the original taste of the ingredients. The “tongue stew,” which features soft and thick beef tongue and stew sauce boiled for six hours, is especially popular.
