- This castle is also called the Hakuho (white phoenix) castle as the white shining walls of this three-story castle look almost like a phoenix resting its wings. Distinguished castle designer Todo Takatora, who took up the position of feudal lord of Tsu Domain, Ise Province originally built a five-story castle keep but it was destroyed during a great storm in 1612. The current castle keep was restored in 1935. The beautiful stone walls with a height of 30 meters as well as the inner moat remain as they were at the time when Takatora designed them, and the castle was designated as a national historic site in 1967, while the castle keep was designated as an Iga City Tangible Cultural Property in 1985.

- Mie Iga-shi Otacho 1338
- "This historical site park is located at Kagiya Tsuji, a roadside street at the intersection of Nara Kaido and Oda Nii. In the park, a road signpost built in 1828 still exists, as well as a teahouse that recreates the ""Kazuma Teahouse"" where the Iga-goshi revenge, known as one of the three major revenge battles in Japan, took place, and the Iga-goshi Museum."

- Samurai Residence: Residence of the Irimajiri Family
- Travel / Tourism
- Mie Iga-shi Uenoaioicho 2828
- This residence was granted to Irimajiri Kanpei by the local domain when he changed residences during the Kansei era (1789-1800). The only extant samurai residence in the prefecture, the estate still retains its distinctive long nagayamon gate. The grounds encompass a main building and the gate, as well as a dozo storehouse, front building, and teahouse with a round window, and the general public may enter and view this real former samurai residence. Tree peonies have been planted in a space used as a field behind the residence, and even today the estate is one of the most well-known destinations for viewing tree peony blossoms in Iga.

- "This historic building stands in front of the torii gate of Urufushine Shrine on Prefectural Route 80 in Naka-machi, Nabari City. The building hosts a liquor store selling local alcoholic beverages from Nabari. A 170-year-old tatami mat room is also made open to the general public as one of the ""Iga Street Corner Museums"" - small facilities which introduce the living and breathing culture of the Iga region. In addition, the building is used to display historically valuable items dating to as old as the Edo period, and to hold historic shadow puppet plays which introduce the history and culture of Nabari."

Mie Areas
Spread across the eastern side of the Kii Peninsula, Mie prefecture boasts hundreds of kilometers of pretty coastline comprising the oyster-rich Toba city and Shima National Park all the way down to Kumano, a city that marks the beginning of part of the Kumano Kodo pilgrimage, which runs into neighboring Wakayama prefecture. However, Mie is best known for the Ise Jingu Shinto shrine inland, one of the oldest and largest shrines in the country.
