Similar to the country of Denmark, an advanced farming nation, the city of Anjo has come to serve as a model for farming across Japan. Accordingly, the city has gained the nickname, the “Denmark of Japan.” Denpark, a park filled with flowers and green plants, also boasts a variety of facilities, such as restaurants, shops, and play equipment. The Marchen trolley circles the park’s spacious grounds, making it easy to enjoy all the park has to offer, even for families with small children.

This is a great place to spend a day with kids. Firstly, the car park is free which is almost unheard of in Japan. The park entrance fee is very cheap. There is a train that goes round the park that...

Aichi Areas

around-area-map

Aichi is a prefecture of great natural beauty with Nagoya city at its heart, a busy hub home to a labyrinth of underground shops and the 17th-century Nagoya Castle. Castles are easy to find in this history-rich prefecture, but the highlight for history buffs has to be the Museum Meiji-mura, where preserved buildings from the turn of the 20th century are displayed in all their grandeur in an outdoor museum.
