This roadside station is located along Prefectural Route 10 in Iwabuchi, Fuji City. You can also access it from the Fujikawa Service Area on the Tomei Expressway. The four-floor area features a restaurant, a food court, a stall corner, and vendors of souvenirs, as well as a planetarium, a crafts room, and an experiment room.

This roadside station in the north-easternmost part of Shizuoka Prefecture is located on the side of National Route 246, which features scenic views of Mt. Fuji. Its shop offers fresh local vegetables harvested that morning, local processed products, original products with a Kintaro (a hero from Japanese folklore) motif, and brand-name sweets . Its restaurant, Restaurant Fujioyama, offers a variety of dishes made with Gotenba koshihikari rice and other local ingredients.

    Shizuoka Pref. Suntougunoyamachou Subashiri 338-44
This roadside station, where guests can relax while enjoying the blessings of Mt. Fuji, is very popular for the views of the mountain from its restaurant's terrace seats. The terrace is connected directly to a grassy space where visitors can enjoy Mt. Fuji at a scale not found anywhere else. Soaking in its foot baths while taking in the up-close view of Mt. Fuji is a great way for weary travelers to unwind. The station's FUJIYAMA BAZAAR, which is stocked with a huge selection of local souvenirs and specialties, and its Fujiyama Shokudo diner, which offers views of Mt. Fuji, are both well worth a visit.

This roadside station is located along the Fuji-Yui Bypass of National Route 1 in Gokanjima, Fuji City. It was the first roadside station built in Shizuoka Prefecture, and it offers a glorious view of Mt. Fuji. It is divided into inbound and outbound sides; the inbound side features a restaurant that has items like rice bowls using Suruga Bay's sakura shrimp, and vendors of souvenirs. And on the outbound side, there is a restaurant offering noodles and such.

Shizuoka Areas

around-area-map

With the giant Pacific Ocean to the south and the great Mount Fuji to the north, Shizuoka prefecture is blessed with some of the best views the country has to offer. The white sand beaches of the Izu Peninsula are a rare find on mainland Japan, neighbored by beautiful cliffs, tumbling hills, and natural hot springs. As Japan’s largest producer of green tea, the age-old tradition of tea drinking is ubiquitous in Shizuoka, from the miles of tea fields to the old tea houses hosting traditional tea ceremonies.
