- Ishikawa Pref. Kanazawashi Katamachi 2-9-15
- A “yoshoku” Japanese-style Western cuisine restaurant established in 1957 located in Kata-machi, Kanazawa City, Ishikawa Prefecture. Grill Otsuka is said to be one of the restaurants which invented hanton rice, a local Kanazawa specialty dish. A hearty dish, hanton rice is ketchup rice wrapped in a semi-soft omelet, topped with deep fried breaded tuna and shrimp, and covered with ketchup and a homemade tartar sauce. In part thanks to its atmosphere reminiscent of the good, old days of the Showa period, Grill Otsuka is frequently featured in travel magazines.

Ishikawa Areas
Long, thin Ishikawa prefecture runs along the Sea of Japan up into Noto Peninsula. Highlights of the seaside towns lining the west coast include Kanazawa, often described as a "Little Kyoto" thanks to its old wooden tea houses and geisha culture as well as its picturesque Japanese garden, Kenroku-en.
