    A “yoshoku” Japanese-style Western cuisine restaurant established in 1957 located in Kata-machi, Kanazawa City, Ishikawa Prefecture. Grill Otsuka is said to be one of the restaurants which invented hanton rice, a local Kanazawa specialty dish. A hearty dish, hanton rice is ketchup rice wrapped in a semi-soft omelet, topped with deep fried breaded tuna and shrimp, and covered with ketchup and a homemade tartar sauce. In part thanks to its atmosphere reminiscent of the good, old days of the Showa period, Grill Otsuka is frequently featured in travel magazines.

    Some 5-6 people were queuing outside during lunch time. We were handed menu outside and ordered outside. Payment is cash only. Staff are attentive. The most famous Hanton rice and meat sauce...

    This bistro and cafe operates out of a building used as an ironworks in the Taisho period in Nagamachi, Kanazawa City, Ishikawa Prefecture. Inside, the establishment sports a stylish decor mixing a European atmosphere with a good oldfashioned warmth and friendliness. Open from 8:00 a.m., the front of the establishment is filled with fresh-baked breads straight from the kitchen.

    This place came highly recommended by a friend and it did not disappoint at all. We came for breakfast 2 days in a row. They have good baked goods, we particularly liked the croque Monsieur...

    創作料理とカクテルが美味しかったです。ゆっくり寛げました。サービス、人もよくてアットホームでした。またうかがいます。 Creative cuisine and cocktails were very good. OMOTENASHI so good Kabazawa is beautiful town!!
