    This restaurant on the second floor of Tateyama Ropeway's Kurobedaira Station features great views of Mt. Akasawadake and the other peaks of the Tateyama Mountain Range. In the fall excursion season, guests can enjoy views of the autumn foliage that fill the restaurant's windows. The restaurant is also a great place to spend time while waiting for a transfer. The restaurant's most popular item is its Kurobe Genryu set, which includes Himi udon noodles and a mini shiroebi-don (Japanese glass shrimp served on rice). Only 20 of these sets are available per day. Other offerings include their Yuki no Otani (Snow Wall) curry, which uses rice and fukujinzuke pickles to represent a wall of snow and Jigokudani (Hell Valley) respectively, coffee made with Kurobedaira's spring water and other treats unique to Kurobedaira.

    This restaurant is in a government lodging building basically designed by famous architect Takamasa Yoshizaka in 1964, and remodeled and reopened in 1998. The view of the Toyama plain from the restaurant is breathtaking. They have a full menu with dishes like Himi Udon, Mida soba, Dainichidake curry, beef stew, and so on.

    "This is the largest hotel restaurant on the Alpen Route. They offer a number of quick meals featuring the flavors of Toyama, including Fried Glass Shrimp rice bowls with ""sarasara"" soup sets, Tateyama 3-Color Boxes with ""sarasara"" soup sets, Fried Glass Shrimp and Himi Udon meals and more. In the mornings and evenings, it operates as Washokudo Tateyama for hotel guests."
