この店を訪ねたのは偶然。ジビエと聞いてやや腰が引けたが、普通のフレンチを食べてどれも美味しい。失礼なものの言いようだが、場所と味がアンマッチで予想を超えた味を楽しめた。東京の並み居るフレンチレストランの中でも上位に入るだろう。大きな窓から外を見るとスカイツリーやアサヒビールの「あわ」が目の前に見える。なかなかの眺めだ。スターターとして食べたパテはジビエだったそうな。臭みがなく美味かった。

上野へ行った時、ランチの名物びっくり丼を食べたくて行ってみました。あいにく、びっくり丼は既に売り切れていたので、アジ・イワシ・シメサバのヒカリモノ3種丼とアジフライ・カキフライ定食を食べました。新鮮な魚の丼や定食はなかなか美味しく行った甲斐はありましたが、次回は是非びっくり丼を食べてみたいと思いました。
