  It is a small temple near Sanjusangendo. Its gate like a Chinese temple is remarkable. This place used to be a palace of Emperor Emeritus Goshirakawa. His mausoleum is just behind this temple.

  Small temple, ran into geishas outside. Nice pine tree outside of the building with a huge branch. Small store inside selling Buddhist beads etc. Not a ton of explanation, but great to soak it all in,...
