滋贺县的主要地区

沿滋贺县与京都府交界向东前行不久便是琵琶湖。琵琶湖占地670平方公里，占据滋贺县的大部分地区。琵琶湖畔湖滨小径景致优美，供游客徒步或骑行。沿途建有神社庙宇及博物馆，两岸风景如画。沿着湖滨小径最终可到琵琶湖东侧的彦根城。
