기후 시내의 '긴카잔로쿠 역'과 '긴카산초 역' 사이를 약 4분만에 연결하는 로프웨이. 발 밑에는 자연림으로 뒤덮인 긴카잔 산과 나가라가와 강의 자연미, 기후시의 거리를 한눈에 볼 수 있다. 긴카산초 역에는 다람쥐 공원과 매점, 전망 레스토랑이 있으며, 여름이 되면 레스토랑에서 비어 가든이 열린다. 요금은 왕복 어른 1,080엔, 어린이 540엔.

steady and fabulous view enroute

We visited the Gifu Park, Museum and then took the Ropeway up Mt. Kinka to visit the famous castle. Inclined at 25 deg one hardly felt stress as it traverse at 3.6m/sec and brings up within 5mins. We...

There some steep steps up to the observation cafe. On the roof is free. Minimum 400 yen for 2 pancakes (good) for the air conditioned area. Great view. People in their 90s are crawling to the top.
Kinka zan Ropeway

Visited Gifu Park Squirrel enclosure and Gifu Castle. The squirrels and Gifu Castle are on the mountain and unless you are quite fit the Ropeway is the easy way up.
