  as the name suggested, the best time to visit is the sakura time. when i visited in the winter (march 2019) not much u can enjoy.

  it is a road in area from tram station to goryokaku park.. when spring come, u can see cherry blossom, its beautiful,. we can enjoy the scenery and there is no traffic here.. just got nice walking...

  函館市電の柏木町で降り、函館駅方面にちょっと戻ったところにある通りです。函館の住宅街にある短い通りですが道の両脇に桜が植えられていて、桜の時期には桜のトンネルを満喫できる場所です。観光地では無いような気もしますが、函館の桜というと必ず出てくる場所ですし、桜自体も見応えがあるので足を伸ばして損はありません。南のツルハドラッグまで続く通りですが、ツルハドラッグの付近にはほとんど桜は植えられていません...
