One of the characteristics of Echizen cutlery, which is attracting attention not only in Japan but also from overseas, is the sharpness created by craftsmen. The tour will visit two workshops: Yamaken Mokkojo, which specializes in making Echizen cutlery handles, which are rare even in Japan, and Ryusen Hamono, which makes knives with beautiful unique ripple patterns.
