The reason why requests from world brands come in... Kokura Orimono‘s strength lies in jacquard silk fabrics. An industrial jacquard loom has 14,200 warp (vertical) threads, with weft (horizontal) threads moving back and forth between them. There is slight unevenness in thickness. The craftsman adjusts them while threading, and operates the loom while keeping an eye on it to ensure that it runs smoothly. Today, there are almost no highly specialized craftsmen even within the production area, which is one of the reasons why Kokura Textile receives requests from world-famous brands.
