Let‘s make and eat traditional Japanese sweets in the cafe space at the back of an elegant store in the historical town of Kawajiri! A craftsman who was awarded the [Modern Master Craftsman] award in 2020 will carefully and kindly teach you how to make Japanese sweets. Demonstration first! I‘m looking forward to seeing what you can do. Next, let‘s actually make them (2 pieces). Japanese sweets that are fun to look at and make, such as seasonal flowers and fruits. At the end, enjoy it with matcha. This is a popular experience not only for Japanese customers but also for foreign customers. Interpretation in English (beginner level) and Spanish (intermediate level) is also available. We will give you the Japanese sweets you made during the demonstration as souvenirs.
