Aizutajima Gion Festival

The Aizutajima Gion Festival has over 800 years of history and is counted among Japan's three biggest Gion festivals. Every year, 40 brides gather for the beautiful and elegant Nanahokairetsu procession. There are plenty of other sights, too, like the majestic Oyatai parade and the folk entertainment Yatai Kabuki. Crowds flock to see it every year.
