Hiroshima Flower Festival (ひろしまフラワーフェスティバル)
Started in 1977 and held for over 40 years since, the Hiroshima Flower Festival is one of the top festivals in Hiroshima. Conducted in spring, the festival aims to be a flower of peace connecting Hiroshima and the world. Drawing huge crowds each year, some of the festival's many events include a parade, procession of portable shrines praying for peace, music and dance performances, a flea market, a souvenir exhibition, and more.

There is more than meets the eye awaiting any Hiroshima-bound traveler.
