Maebashi Fireworks Festival

This fireworks festival takes place on the banks of the Tone River near Owatari Bridge in Maebashi City. About 15,000 fireworks go into displays like elaborate starmines and special effect fireworks that color the summer night sky. Highlights include the explosive Maebashi original Sky Niagara and the Spectral Niagara launched from Owatari Bridge. There are other events to enjoy besides the fireworks as well, like the T-1 Grand Prix, where local eateries compete to be the best in Maebashi.
