Nagoya Port Festival Fireworks Show

This fireworks display is held as the closing feature of the Ocean Day - Nagoya Minato Festival born as a post-war reconstruction festival in 1946. It is a beloved summer tradition of Nagoya Port. In this large-scale display, the night sky is lustrously painted in myriad colors by the continuous launching of impressive fireworks, from oversized shells like 12 inch shells, and creative star mines. The finale features so-called melodic fireworks set off in sync with music, whipping the audience into a frenzy of emotion.
