Yoro Park
A park extending from Yoro Falls, a famous sightseeing destination on Mt. Yoro, to the base of the mountain, the park is dotted with shrines, a camp center, playground, and park golf course, among other facilities. A renowned destination for cherry blossom viewing, some 3,000 cherry trees grow on the park’s grounds, including Yoshino cherries, Higan cherries, double-flowered cherries, and hill cherries. The sight of the park dyed a veritable pink is truly spectacular. A row of cherry trees also extends along the path leading to the falls, delighting the eyes of visitors. The best time for viewing the park’s cherry blossoms is from late March to early April. The sight of the trees illuminated at night is also beautiful. Regular park hours are from 9:00 to 17:00; the park is closed on Mondays (if Monday is a holiday, the park will be open and close the following day). Toilets, shops and paid parking available. The nearest station is Yoro Station.
