Tambara Ski Parkたんばらスキーパーク

Skiing/Snowboarding Area

A popular spot with high-quality powder snow located about two hours from Tokyo. Featuring eight courses in all from beginner to advanced it’s perfect for families. It offers a lot to kids coming to the slopes for their first time with a shallow slope for first-time skiiers “tamba land” for playing in the snow and a ski & snowboard school.

The facility is being well managed by Tokyu Resort Service, big rest and kids area, with a small sweet shop; restaurants have Gunma local dishes, or using local ingredients,

Not too many slopes...

Went to Tokyo for Sakura experience but since Tambara, Gunma is just a little over 2 hours from Tokyo, we added this tour. This is quite an experience for a family with kids. They offer good enough...

We had a nice lunch buffet eventhough a few choices. There are lockers and toilets. The kids had fun with the snow would definitely recommend this ski park.

Gunma prefecture is synonymous with onsen. Natural hot spring water sources throughout the prefecture have given rise to a series of small onsen towns, each set among luscious mountains. At Kusatsu, Ikaho, and Minakami, traditional indoor and outdoor bathing experiences are served hand in hand with irresistible onsen-themed food, including steam-cooked eggs and custard pudding.
