Kusatsu Kokusai Ski Resort草津国際スキー場

Skiing/Snowboarding Area

This ski resort is located along National Route 292 in Shiranekokuyurin Kusatsu Town. There are nine courses with a total length of 8000 meters and slopes with a height difference of 926 meters. Visitors can also wear snowshoes and walk through the forest and to the “Yugama” crater lake in Mt. Shirane. There’s also a kids’ park for visitors with children as well as a day nursery.

If you booked a night at Kusatsu you may come to this place for ski, this is not a big station but walking distance from the hotel or town center (maybe 30 mins), even if you don't ski, there are...
