This resort’s longest 3,200-meter downhill run descends from its 2,120-meter summit. The top portion of its Sky High Course, commonly known as the 1 Chome, is especially popular with its frequently changing gradients and vistas. The whole course has spectacular views of the Central Japan Alps, Mt. Ontake, and Mt. Norikura. The glass paneled restaurant along the course always ranks high among Nagano’s ski resort eateries in the “Gere-Shoku Battle” to decide the tastiest resort dishes in the prefecture.

マイヤの存在は知っていました。でも4/7が初めてのスキーイングで、本当に素晴らしいスキー場でした。こぶ在りオフありで、初心者からエキスパートまで堪能できると思います。また窓口の対応は親切で感じのいい女性でした。この素晴らしさをもっと多くの人に知って欲しくて筆をとりました。そして真っ蒼な空に白銀の稜線が美しく映え、霊峰御岳を是非とも一望してほしいものです。シーハイル雪男
雪質は良いです。

暖冬ですが3月に入ってなぜか雪が良く降り雪質は良くなっています。スキーヤーもボーダーも初心者が少ないのです。座り込んでいるボーダーもあまり見かけることなく快適です。名古屋からは若干遠く3時間近くかかりますが暖冬でもゲレンデ健在です。

今シーズン最初のスキーはマイアで1月下旬に訪れました。主に子供のスキー練習に付き合うだけで、自分自身は滑らなかったので、コースの状況はわかりません。キッズゲレンデだった所が初心者用の練習コースになっていたので、ずっとそこにいました。雪はふかふかでしたが、風で飛んでしまうのでしょう、一部アイスバーンもありました。トップシーズンにしては少し物足りない積雪量だったと思います。道中もだいぶ上がらないと...
