With superb scenery and snow quality, ASAMA 2000 Park is for everyone from beginners to advanced level skiers. Groups and families are particularly fond of their STAGE 3 course. Running from the summit of Mt. Takamine at an elevation of 2,091 meters, beginners can ski it while enjoying the view. STAGE 1 comes recommended for beginners and small children as it’s away from other slopes. At 400 meters, it’s the most gently sloped course for worry-free practice.

滑りやすい練習バーンが揃うこじんまりとしたスキー場

緩斜面から急斜面までカーブやうねりのない真っすぐで平らなバーンが揃うので練習には持ってこいなスキー場です。軽井沢からは少し離れていることもあり、まじめに練習をしにくる人が多いようです。そのためか、スキー場全体が秩序だっているような気がしました。

スキー場はこじんまりとしていて、物足りなさはありますが、私は高峰温泉をメインでゆっくりするおまけに滑りました。積雪が少ないところですが、標高が高いので、降れば雪質もまずまずです。

決して大きいスキー場ではないですが軽井沢方面から一時間程度で来れ、雪質も軽井沢周辺に比べれば圧倒的に良く、レンタル・スクール・レストハウスの使い勝手がいいので気に行っています。レストハウスの食事が安くてボリュームあっておいしいです。スキー場の食事は高い不味いだと思い込んでいたのでびっくりしました。今、以前駐車場だったところに直営のホテルを作っているので、駐車場が不便になってしまっているのが難点…で...
