This day-use hot spring bathhouse is operated by Unzen City for residents, and accordingly those living in the city can get a discount on the usage fee. Another nice thing is that it is open from 6:00 a.m. The waters of the bathhouse' salt spring are said to treat nervous diseases as well as sensitivity to cold and rheumatism. The bathhouse only has an indoor bathing area with hot and lukewarm baths, enabling customers to choose whichever temperature bath they prefer. The bathhouse also serves as a rest and relaxation space where local residents gather.

地元に親しまれる温泉銭湯

島原半島の小浜温泉にある共同浴場。小浜温泉の日帰り温泉施設といえば茜の湯の方が人気ですが、こちらは観光客向けというよりも地元民向けの銭湯といった雰囲気。昔ながらの番台や、市民なら入浴料100円というほとんどタダのような値段設定など古き良き銭湯の雰囲気に溢れています。でもお湯は間違いなく素晴らしい泉質の小浜の湯。最高です。なお市外の人でも150円と大変リーズナブルですよ。

市営の共同浴場です。あつ湯、ぬる湯の２種類があります。あるのは温泉だけ！シャンプーもコンディショナーもありません。でも、市外の人は150円で入浴できるという、とってもお手軽な温泉です。（市内の人は1回/100円。又は入浴券13枚/1000円）深めの浴槽にお湯がたっぷり♪数年前にシャワーが付いて、以前より便利になりました。観光の帰り道、サッと汗を流すのにオススメです。
