Kaneko Shoten

This longstanding souvenir store is currently operated by the third generation owner. Many of the store's products are available no place else, including local yuzukosho, handmade arare roasted mochi snacks, and original picture postcards. In addition, the store is one of only a very few places in the prefecture where you can buy dried foods such as shiitake mushrooms, bamboo shoots, and royal fern by weight. The store's wide selection also includes koshin shiitake mushrooms, dark sleeper, and cloud ear mushrooms. The store also provides a shipping service for in-store customers.
