Hama Strawberry Farm
This tourist farm, a 15-minute drive from the Kitsuki Interchange on the Oita Airport Road, is located inside the seaside Sumiyoshihama Resort Park. Here visitors can enjoy picking delicious strawberries in a resort-style atmosphere. Customers can pick and eat all the strawberries they like for 40 minutes. The farm's tender, juicy Saga Honoka, Beni Hoppe, Toyonoka, and Moikko strawberries grow rapidly in Sumiyoshihama's mild climate. The farm also offers take-home only berry picking. Strawberry picking is offered on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays from January 1 to the end of May. The farm is spaciously laid out and the pathways between strawberry rows are wide, ensuring those with baby strollers and wheelchair users can also easily enjoy strawberry picking.
