Kashiwa Municipal Library Children Library

This library is for children and their parents. The library is located on the first floor of the Kashiwa City Hall Shonan Branch City Office on Prefectural Route 8. Visitors are required to take their shoes off at the entrance, ensuring that babies can crawl on the floor safely. The library's collection primarily consists of picture books and other books for children. There's a reading space where children can lie down and read, and nursing and kitchenette facilities. The library also supports child raising through information distribution, and there's a space with pamphlets concerning childrearing and children's health. Music performances, book readings, and other events are held here almost daily, and many parents come here with their children to enjoy the library's events.
